Florida: Governor Charlie Crist announced last week his health reform proposal to address the uninsured. There are many details to be worked out. It is a voluntary public/private partnership with the ability to offer plans with flexibility in benefits. It is not expected to contain individual mandates nor employer mandates. Health Insurance companies will continue to work with the Governor as the session approaches in the first week of March.
